MBE-Writer

This is a WYSIWYG Editor for MBE based on Markdown Paste. As long as you don’t enter a ID, you can’t save your written to the server. It’s just stored in your local browser cache.

Usage

If you direct your browser to domain/e/existing-blogpost, it will open this existing posting. You can edit it and save it. If you want to create a new posting, direct your browser to a new (non-existing) blogpost. domain/e/new-posting. You can edit it and save it.

Setup

  • Place mbe-writer to the root directory if your mbe installation or in a subfolder like e/
  • modify your webserver configuration the same like for mbe + accesscontrol (otherwise everyone can do blogposts)
  • edit mbe-writer.cfg.template (location of your blogpost files) and save it to mbe-writer.cfg
